5 Wishes eLearning Industry wants Santa to Fulfill

On behalf of Knowzies Team, we wish all our readers Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year. Yesterday, I was having a conversation with one of our long-term eLearning Partner. During discussion, I could explore that he has a good amount of list of wishes which he wish us to fulfill in coming year. While talking to him for a moment, I thought as if I am a Santa and I must full-fill all his wishes on the eve of Christmas. Some were realistic and some were unrealistic. Jokes apart - but post my call with him, I just imagined what if Santa really comes alive and fulfill those wishes, what those wishes will be and I could list some of those as below based on my discussion with him

    1. eLearning Should Be Measurable

Can we really measure the impact or effectiveness of eLearning? This is one of the most commonly asked questions by almost 90% of the corporate today. As a Santa of eLearning, we may answer it as “Yes” and “No” both. Yes - because if we do eLearning in the designed manner the long-term impact can be measured, else it becomes waste of resources and energy.

    1. Transparent Feedback and Open Evaluation

Though eLearning is an effective way of delivering the learning at any time, but it is very difficult to have a transparent feedback system in place along with the appropriate evaluation process. We wish Santa should wish us the best ways to have these systems in place.

    1. eLearning Must Be Motivational

This is a very common concern of most of the corporate that eLearning does not hook up the new age user on the courses. The course at times is not motivational for user to give enough push to come and complete the course. We wish if Santa can help us to identify the main indicators which may help to keep user engaged and motivated on the eLearning content.

    1. Cost

Cost is always a concern while developing any eLearning course. eLearning vendor have their own cost and clients also have their own budgetary constraint and both expect a win-win situation which at times leads into some unrealistic negotiations. We wish if Santa can help in setting the expectations of the cost on both the sides.

There are few other wishes also which eLearning Santa can fulfill. We will try to get some of our wishes fulfill this time.

Till then we wish all our users Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
